which yamaha Electric Guitar is better for a beginner?

I was looking for a Pacifica but I bought a used Ibanez Artcore
AS73 for under $300 including shipping on Ebay.
I also use it on my computer with a Line 6 Toneport U1
which allows you to get almost any sound out of it.

It’s a hollowbody sort of like what Leslie Feist plays but without a Bigsby (whammy bar).
Hers is an expensive Gretsch.
